Nicholas Bryan
Nick has been a part-time resident of Springs since 1975 and has been involved with Accabonac Protection Committee for more than twenty years, working with many of the original founders including Cile Downs. In his role as board member he has consulted frequently with the Town of East Hampton as an advocate for the health of Accabonac Harbor. Nick served as Treasurer of the APC until 2026.
Nick was a professional educator for 33 years in the New York City school system, culminating in his role as Principal for a Brooklyn-based high school.
When not leading hikes along Gerard Drive for the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society, Nick enjoys time with his children and grandchildren.

He served on the board of the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and the American Institute of Wine and Food. For the four decades prior, he was a film and television producer and director.

When not paddleboarding, introducing friends to the magic of Accabonac Harbor, or running along Gerard Drive, Rebecca is working away as an operations executive at a technology start-up.
Mark Obenhaus
Mark Obenhaus is an internationally recognized producer and director of documentary films.
He has lived on Accabonac for over 30 years. His passion for the area led him to join the Accabonac Protection Committee, where he has served on the board since 2024.
Jody Sutter
Jody has called East Hampton her year-round home since 2013. Living on Three Mile Harbor, her daily proximity to the harbor has sharpened an appreciation for the intricate relationship between land, water, and sky, and for the life cycles that sustain them. It has also reinforced a core belief that understanding the impact of our collective action is essential to being thoughtful, responsible stewards on the East End of Long Island.
Professionally, Jody runs a sales and marketing consulting firm and brings her curated experience to the Accabonac Protection Committee, where she has served since 2024, in order to raise community awareness of APC’s mission and expand the reach of its impact.
Glyn Vincent
A journalist and author, Glyn and his wife, Stacy Goodman, a pre-Columbian art expert, have had a house in Springs, within walking distance of Accabonac, since 2008. Glyn spends most of his free time on or near the water observing, as an amateur naturalist, the flora and fauna, sailing and fly-fishing. He has been on the APC board for five years and is also a member of the East Hampton Town Nature Preserve Committee. The author of two books and a finalist for the National Magazine Award, Glyn has written for many publications, including articles about the environment and local history for East magazine.
