A Journey Through the Soil’s Ecosystem
Tamson Yeh, PhD
A handful of soil contains billions of microbes and fungi, not to mention tiny worms and insects all working in synergy to maintain healthy soil, so critical to life on earth.
Learn about this diverse and complex ecosystem, how fungicides, insecticides and herbicides effect these populations and what can be done to mitigate their effect on the soil health- and ours!
Dr. Tamson Yeh, PhD is the Pest Management/Turf Specialist at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk Country where she has worked for over twenty years. Dr. Yeh received her BA in Biology from Wells College and both an MS in Animal and Veterinary Science and a PhD in Plant Science from the University of Rhode Island.
Got Dirt? Get Soil!
