Please join us for an important presentation by Samantha Klein, East Hampton Town Environmental Analyst and CARP committee member on the recently approved Coastal Assessment Resiliency Plan. Samantha will be joined by Kathleen Fallon and Kim Shaw.

As you may recall, many of us attended the CARP workshop a few years ago. More recently, Allison Branco, Climate Adaption Director at the Nature Conservancy, presented on this topic at an APC Forum with a focus on Springs. Samantha’s presentation will include the background on CARP, risk factors such as depth to ground water and flood zones that resulted in Louse Point and Gerard being in scope for CARP.

Samantha will discuss next steps from the CARP plan including regulatory changes including emergency preparedness, renewable energy, etc.
