Pollinator Gardens, Insects and Birds

APC Forum January 12, 2021 at 6 pm

We have three expert guest speakers this month who will speak about our Forum themes of Gardens, Insects and Birds

Mica Marder and Tamson Yeh, PhD of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Last year Mica and Tamson walked throught Marder’s Pollinator Garden in July. Professionally videotaped, you will see a beautiful pollinator garden and hear birdsongs as they tour the garden. We will show a bit of the video, which we will put on the APC website so you can enjoy at your leisure.  Mica and Tamson will answer your questions about pollinator gardens and pollinators.

Edwina Von Gal, noted landscape designer and environmentalist, will speak about the theme of “Two Thirds (2/3) for the Birds”. Learn about this rewarding approach to gardening with our bird friends and the environment in mind.
